The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested Vernon Harvey, 22, Qwaee Wright, 18, and Bobby Bolton, 20, for residential burglaries in West Los Angeles. It is believed that the trio is part of a burglary group involved in around 20 burglaries in West L.A. and the San Fernando Valley.
On the 15th of September, three burglaries were carried out in Studio City, with surveillance footage displaying the masked suspects ransacking the homes and escaping with jewelry, designer handbags, and other items. The thieves made their getaway in a black 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV with a stolen license plate.
During one of the robberies, one of the suspects grabbed a handbag with a tracking device, which the owner used to locate and follow the burglars. Police then surrounded an apartment complex in Inglewood, where the suspects were trying to open a safe from the Mar Vista burglary. All three were arrested and are now charged with burglary.
Remember, installing home security systems and adopting sound safety practices can discourage potential burglars and establish a more secure setting for ourselves and our dear ones.
